Design: Around Clock

Problem:

Both traditional and digital clocks give little physical resemblance as to how we sense time passing. They also represent too much detail for most peoples daily needs. 

Solution:

The Around Clock's dial rotates behind the fixed sundial inspired hand, evoking the sense of the world rotating through day and night and the cyclical trends and events we see in life. The lines represent only a quarter of an hour, enough detail for even the most exuberant socialite!
